  2. (Deleted that last one as needed editing) I'm going to be following you 'virtually' every inch of the way! Your journey is so similar to one I'd like to do - I love it! I did my trip to Somerset in two parts with fully laden bicycle - 47 miles approx each day for two days on the way up - stopping off at Warm Showers' host to camp on their lawn. 6 days camping inbetween (to recuperate). Same mileage on way back, but hillier route south of M5 thru Blackdown hills - over two days again and stopping off at a different Warm Showers' host - who let me sleep in their travelling van :-) I used just about ALL the gear I carried, except for waterproof jacket and trews (thank goodness). I took knitting, fleece and combs (don't ask) and spindle, AND painting stuff. Got to get priorities right and heaven forbid I should get bored. Anyway - not long now until YOU set off and I'm SO excited for you. Good luck - it all sounds enormous fun and I'm only a wee bit envious. The totally GREEN (with jealousy) Terri.
